The Final Day: Execution Teams Activated

The full staff of the Idaho Department of Correction is on extra alert today, as they work toward the final hours and minutes leading to Friday morning's scheduled execution of Paul Ezra Rhoades.

Earlier today, deputy chief of prisons Josh Tewalt formally activated several teams, including correctional emergency emergency response, incident stress management and traffic control.

A complete health-care review of Rhoades will be conducted today.…
